Brenham born and raised singer/ songwriter Jacob Boyd caught the music bug early in life, making his debut appearance on the hit talent show, "Star Search" in 2004.

His love for music eventually led him to Nashville, Tennessee, where he met his wife, started a small business, and spent over a decade chasing the music dream.

Life eventually brought him back home where he got the opportunity to be the resident artist at The Kenney Store in Kenney, Texas. During his time there, he shared the stage with John Anderson, Steve Wariner, Stoney LaRue, John Conlee, Jason Allen, Jody Booth, Josh Ward, Jake Bush, Jake Worthington, Tyler Farr, The Wilder Blue, Sundance Head, Glen Templeton, and The Reeves Brothers, just to name a few.

Immediately following the recording of his debut EP in the spring of 2022, titled "New Mexico Stars," Jacob was asked to go on tour with newly signed Big Loud Records artist Jake Worthington as his lead guitarist. Jacob spent the better half of 2022 on tour with Worthington, where they shared the stage country music legends such as Hank Williams Jr.,  Flatland Cavalry, Morgan Wallen, Justin Moore, Hardy, Ernest, and so many others.

Jacob's style leans more towards the 80's and 90's era of country music, heavily influenced by the honky tonkin' and rug-cuttin' vibe. His originals have been described as James Taylor Melody’s put to country lyrics.
